well needless to say you must have your death and blood magic up to 12 or higher. so i reccomend one of my personal favorite spells, Soul Feast, that spell has saved me so many times it isn't funny. Depending on your stats it can heal you up to 234 health by consuming a nearby corpse. It is a quick spell, and thats how much it heals me with 13 death magic, so i reccomend this one easily. Another spell that is common is Well of Blood, my blood magic isn't very high right now(about 8) and it creates an area where my allies get health regen of 4 for 14 seconds. These are my two favorite spells right now. (*note, I haven't recieved every spell nor memorized all of them but these two i do and use very often.)

for tombs... soul feast is... useless..
if you go with a standard necro you need well of suffering, well of profane, putrid, consume, tainted, rend and some other stuff. thats a pretty standard support/well necro.
some people use traversal instead of consume, i think if it gets to the point where you cant use all the pet corpses traversal wont save you but w/e some people use it.
your goal as a necro is to both deny corpses from the other necro and to help your team with wells. tainted is just a great way to keep your team disease free, and it can also screw over people that dont use it.
i would usually run 16 death and about 10 soul reaping in this, so that you can actually use consume or putrid when someone dies, no worries about energy. i know one guy who went with n/me with all of the above maybe - consume and a serious amount of debuffing (drain enchant, rend, inspired enchant (or something)) etc. it was quite awesome he could keep a target debuffed really well, helped alot. so n/me is your friend there.
hope it made sense

it did make sense and i appreciate the heads up. for me its a heads up because i am not very far in the role play section. Its a little embarassing but I am only in the wilds. So right now Soul Feast is A+ for me. I plan on switching attribute points and skills around once I have accumulated the max in AP and almost all in skills(not too worried about curses right now, though I am really thinking about it).
